MEET THE CANDIDATE
Courtney Buiniskis
A proud native of southern Anne Arundel County, Courtney Buiniskis has dedicated her career to public service and education. With a master’s degree in Higher Education and 12 years of experience as an educator, she currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Anne Arundel Community College. In addition to her academic role, Courtney is the Chief of Staff and Legislative Aide to Councilwoman Lisa Rodvien of District 6, where she collaborates with county, city, and state officials to advocate for residents and drive meaningful change.

EXPERIENCE IN PUBLIC SERVICE
Following a hard-fought campaign for State Delegate in District 30B in 2022, Courtney continued her commitment to community service as a Community Engagement Officer in the County Executive’s Office of Constituent Services. In this role, she served all of South County, Odenton, and Crofton, strengthening relationships with residents, HOAs, nonprofits, and law enforcement agencies. Passionate about connecting people with their government, Courtney launched informational sessions to better serve underserved and underrepresented communities. By working with agencies like the Office of Planning and Zoning, she has helped bridge the gap between residents and critical county resources.

A VISION FOR THE FUTURE
Courtney’s strong communication skills and tireless work ethic make her a trusted advocate for the people of Anne Arundel County. As the next Register of Wills, she is committed to ensuring that every resident understands the importance of estate planning—because “Your legacy matters.” Proudly calling Shady Side home, Courtney enjoys South County living with her husband, son, and their beloved family dog, Kroscoe. She is eager to continue serving the community she loves and making a lasting impact for generations to come.
